BUSY REDIAL

Don't have time to keep redialing a number that's busy? Let your phone do it automatically. Busy Redial keeps track of busy numbers for up to 30 minutes and alerts you with a special ring when the line becomes available.

When you get a busy signal:

  • Hang up, then pick up the handset again.
  • Press *66.
  • Hang up again.
  • Busy Redial will continue dialing the number for up to 30 minutes.
  • A special ring (short-short ring) tells you when the line is no longer busy.
  • Pick up the phone to connect your call.
  • To deactivate this service before the 30 minutes has expired, press *66.

CALL RETURN *69

You can't always reach the phone in time to answer it but you can find out who called, and if you choose, automatically dial the telephone number of the last call received.

  • To find the number of your last caller, press *69.
  • Blocked numbers will not be announced.
  • To return the call, follow the voice prompts.
  • If the line is busy, you will be alerted with a special ring when the line becomes available.

SPEED CALL

Dial your most frequently called numbers with a one- or two-digit code. It's easy and saves a lot of time -- plus it helps prevent misdialed numbers.

Speed Call 8
Dial up to 8 frequently called numbers with a one-digit code.

It's easy to program:

  • Select 8 telephone numbers you wish to program.
  • Pick up the handset and listen for dial tone.
  • Press 74#.
  • Choose any one-digit access code (2 through 9) to identify the stored number.
  • Then dial the number you wish to store. If it is a long distance call, make sure to include the 1 and the appropriate area code.
  • Several short tones will confirm your entry.
  • Repeat these steps for the remaining 7 numbers, giving each a different access code.
  • To change a stored number, follow the same steps. The new number entered for a specific access code will automatically replace any previously stored number.

It's easy to use:

  • To call a number on your Speed Call list, enter the assigned one-digit access code and press #.
  • The number is automatically dialed.

Speed Call 30

  • The number is automatically dialed.

THREE-WAY CALLING

You can talk to people on two separate phone lines at the same time. It's great for families who live apart but like to talk as a group.

To connect a second party to your current call:

  • Dial the first party you wish to call.
  • Once that person is on the line, press and release the hookswitch to put the first caller on hold.
  • When you hear a normal dial tone, dial the second party you wish to add to the call.
  • If the second party does not answer, press the hookswitch twice to cancel and return to the first party.
  • If the second party answers, you can choose to speak privately with them first. Then when you are ready to connect all parties, press the hookswitch.
  • When you finish your conversation with both parties, to disconnect the second party only, press the hookswitch. You'll remain on the line with the first party. To disconnect both parties, hang up your phone.
  • Three-way calls may incur long distance charges if one or both parties are out of your local calling area.
